Booking Policy

Booking and Payments

When selecting your preferred date and time for booking, a nonrefundable and nonnegotiable deposit  will be required. Deposits are due upon scheduling an appointment and are taxed(+HST). The remaining payment will be processed on the day of your appointment and must be settled before you depart from the studio. Please note that the remaining payment will be subject to tax(+HST), unless paid in cash. Credit card in person payments will be subjected to a fee (+2.65%). The deposit can be transferred to ONE new rescheduled appointment date, provided the client notifies us at least 48 hours prior to their original appointment. The rescheduled appointment must be within two weeks of the original date. All sales are final. 

 

Business Hours

Updated availability for dates and times can always be accessed through this link: www.cubebeauty.ca/book-online. We aim to respond to all inquiries during business days, from 9 AM to 9 PM.

 

After Hours/Squeeze ins/Last-Minute Appointments

For appointments scheduled outside of our regular business hours, on off days, or for last-minute bookings, an after-hours add-on fee will be applied: +$30 for full sets, +$20 for refill sets, and +$20 for day-to-day eyebrow or lash lift services. Please note that no squeeze-ins are available for PMU Brow Services. For assistance, kindly reach out via email or Instagram DM.

 

Consent and Waiver Form

Upon confirming your appointment, you will receive an email with a consent and waiver form to be completed online. This form is mandatory for both first-time and recurring clients and must be submitted 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Kindly note that the completion of this form is a prerequisite for receiving any service. Failure to submit the form will render you ineligible for the service.

 

Lateness

We kindly request that you arrive on time or preferably five minutes early for your scheduled appointment. We understand that your schedule can sometimes be demanding, and if you anticipate running late, we appreciate receiving a text notification. Please note that if you are 15 minutes late, a $15 late fee will be applied, considering the subsequent appointments. To ensure fairness to other clients, the duration of the delay will be deducted from your original time slot, limiting the time available for your service. Exceeding a 20-minute delay will be treated as a no-show. Your understanding in respecting everyone's time is greatly appreciated.

Need to Cancel?

Kindly give us a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to accommodate other guests effectively. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise unexpectedly.

 

For all appointments, a 48-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled within this time frame will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and a 50% charge of the remaining balance. An invoice will be issued and must be settled within 14 days. If you intend to rebook, a new deposit will be necessary. Not adhering to these terms will regrettably make you ineligible for future services.

 

Please remember that deposits are in place to minimize no-shows. The less notice provided, the higher the applicable fee due to the loss of time and potential earnings. It's important to note that both deposit fees and cancellation fees are nonrefundable. Your understanding is appreciated as we work to ensure fairness and quality service for all clients.

Rescheduling

Should you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly request a 48-hour notice before your scheduled time. You can conveniently check the website for available dates and times to find a suitable alternative. For your convenience, you have the flexibility to change your date and time on your member's page until the 48-hour mark.

 

Deposits can be transferred once to another deposit date, provided the new appointment is scheduled within the next 14 days of the original appointment and you notify us 48 hours prior to your appointment time. If you decide to reschedule for a second time or provide less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit will be forfeited, and an additional rescheduling fee of $20 will apply.

 

Rescheduling fees are implemented to ensure your commitment to the new appointment date and time. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

 

 

No Shows

We understand that life can sometimes lead to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that you have an appointment scheduled with Cube Beauty and are unable to make it, we kindly request that you reach out to us via text message, phone call, or email before your scheduled visit. This consideration ensures that you can continue to reserve future appointments with us. We deeply value your understanding of the importance of respecting our time, as this is essential to our livelihood. If you find yourself unable to make it to your appointment, we greatly appreciate your effort to provide us with as much notice as possible.

 

In situations where an appointment is not honored without prior communication, we view it as a cancellation. In such cases, an invoice reflecting 50% of the remaining balance will be sent to your email. We kindly ask that you settle this payment by the specified due date. Failing to do so will regrettably result in being unable to book future appointments and may entail other consequences.

 

In instances where there has been a previous no-show but with adequate communication, and you wish to rebook, please note that the 50% remaining balance for the previous service should have been settled beforehand. Additionally, the remaining 50% of the previous service's cost will be added to your new appointment deposit.

 

Your understanding of these policies is highly appreciated as they contribute to the smooth operation of our services. Thank you for your cooperation.

Eyelash Extensions

Allergy/Patch Test

If you're considering a patch test to assess potential allergic reactions, please go ahead and schedule a patch test appointment. It's essential to do so at least 48 hours prior to your main appointment.

 

Please note that if you choose not to undergo the patch test, the artist will be exempt from any liability. In case of any reactions or related medical issues such as puffy or swollen eyes, white pus, scorching, itching, or teary eyes, we regret to inform you that reimbursements will not be provided. Some redness during the initial few hours, especially for beginners, is normal due to discomfort and adhesive fumes. However, if you've received eyelash extension service and experienced a reaction, the removal will be performed at no charge.

For clients experiencing adverse reactions, a complimentary removal service can be arranged. To qualify for this service, it's crucial to inform the provider within 72 hours of the initial appointment date and time.

Refills

For a refill appointment, it's necessary to retain a minimum of 40-50% of presentable (not closed, burnt, or damaged) eyelash extensions on EACH eye, and these extensions should have been previously applied by Cube Beauty. The determination of whether a fill or full set is needed rests with Cube Beauty's discretion. Refills are a REQUIREMENT every 2 to 3 weeks. Should you exceed 3.5 weeks or fail to maintain your lashes, please be aware that you might be charged for a FULL set. If you would like to start fresh you are free to book the "REMOVAL +FULL Set Deposit'.

 

Mini-fills can be scheduled only within 9 days to one week of your most recent appointment, provided that at least 75% of your lashes remain. If the retention is lower, it will be regarded as a regular fill. If you're uncertain, feel free to send photos for clarification. We recommend pre-booking fill sets after your appointments to secure your spot. The website will consistently display the most up-to-date availability information.

 

 

Foreign Fills

Cube Beauty DOES NOT provide refills on top of another technician's work. This is due to potential variations in techniques, products, and application. If you have existing lashes from another technician and wish to receive lash services from Cube Beauty, please ensure to book the "REMOVAL + FULL Set Deposit'. This ensures a seamless and consistent lash application experience. Thank you for your understanding.

 

 

Removals

Removal services are available for clients who have completed their lash extensions or if their extensions are no longer in optimal condition. Opting for removal is highly recommended to maintain the health of your natural lashes. It's important to avoid attempting lash extension removal at home, as this can potentially damage your natural lash hair follicles. Please note that a deposit is still required for removal appointments.

 

Should you also need a new FULL set, kindly schedule under the "REMOVAL + FULL SET DEPOSIT". This appointment will ensure you have enough time for a removal and full set service. This approach ensures a smooth and comprehensive lash experience.

 

PMU Brows
For Ombre Powder Brows: 

 

To proceed with ombre powder brows, clients must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Must be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent.

  • Must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Must not have used Accutane in the past 12 months or received Botox injections in the brow area within the last 6 weeks.

  • If you have undergone previous microblading, shading, or have any skin conditions, please specify this in your booking request.

For Brow Correction: 

Currently Cube Beauty will not be servicing brow correction services. The Brow Correction service will ensure that you always wake up with properly shaped and filled-in eyebrows, much like Cube Beauty's Signature Powder Brow. A few extra steps will be taken in this service to make sure the new shape and colour live up to your expectations. We will also provide you with a realistic idea of the shape and/or colour that can be achieved rather than relying solely on the prior work.

 

For Colour Boost Touch-Up:

The Colour Boost Touchup service is designed for existing clients only. Second session pricing will be determined based on the time frame from the most recent appointment. It is your responsibility to book with enough notice within the timeframe. During this service, we will freshen up your powder brow tattoo's shape, definition, and colour to perfection.  Depending on how much time has passed since your initial appointment, and how faded the work is, the duration can vary from an express service (1 hr) to a full service (3 hrs). Price will vary,

 

PMU Brows Expectations

All forms of permanent cosmetics are thought to require numerous appointment steps.


Individual differences in healing outcomes exist. Even though carefully following the aftercare instructions is essential, we have no control over how the body heals. Absolutely NO promises can be given, and it might take more than one session to achieve the best outcomes. Any additional charges will apply.

 

Even though we make every effort to give you quality service, there are many variables, including lifestyle, skin type, proper aftercare, current color, brow hair, bone structure, skin care products, and any medications taken before and after the procedure, that can lead to less than ideal results because each client heals differently. Please adhere to all aftercare instructions given for the best possible healing and appearance of your new brows! These directions are intended to reduce skin sensitivity and bleeding during the service. Poor outcomes can result from excessive bleeding during the process, which can diluted and expel the pigment colour.

 

Permanent Makeup is Not Recommended For Those Who Are/Have:

  • Actively positive with COVID-19 or recent contact with a positive case

  • Received the COVID vaccine within the last 2 weeks

  • Under 18 years old

  • Active cold sores, skin rashes, sunburns, acne, eczema, psoriasis, lesions, or undiagnosed rashes/blisters in the procedure area

  • Deep wrinkles in the brow area

  • Had facial surgery in the last 4 months

  • Recent Botox/Fillers within 5 weeks

  • Diabetes without doctor consent

  • Recent brow wax, tinting, lamination within 4 weeks

  • Taken Accutane within the last 12 months

  • Blood thinning medication

  • History of keloids or hypertrophic scarring

  • Anemia

  • Skin-related autoimmune disorders

  • Epilepsy

  • Use retinol/retinoids (VITAMIN A) - must be off for at least 5 weeks

  • Transmittable blood-related conditions/diseases (Hepatitis B,C or HIV)

  • Skin allergies to pigmentation or makeup

  • Skin cancer

  • Bleeding disorder or healing disorders

  • Pacemaker or major heart problems

  • Undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy

  • Taking steroid medication

  • Allergic to specific numbing agents

  • If you don't meet these qualifications, please DO NOT book an appointment. Consult your doctor first. Arriving with contraindications will result in service cancellation and forfeiting your deposit.

 

Client Follow Up
To ensure your satisfaction and the best possible results, we kindly request your cooperation in our healing photos policy. After your treatment at Cube Beauty, we'll be in touch within 48 hours to provide guidance and address any queries you may have. Additionally, we encourage you to submit healing photos at specific intervals: immediately after treatment, between days 3-5 to capture initial healing stages, and days 10-14 to showcase advanced healing and true color. Your submitted photos will be treated with utmost privacy and used solely for internal purposes to assist in monitoring your healing progress and offering personalized aftercare advice. This collaboration ensures that any concerns can be addressed promptly, leading to a successful outcome.

 

 

Other Policies

No Guests

For the best treatment experience, we maintain a one-client-per-room policy. This ensures both the artist and client can focus entirely on the treatment at hand. As our studio is a private, home-based space, waiting areas are not available. To maintain a serene environment, we kindly request that you arrive alone without friends, family members (including children), or pets accompanying you to your appointment. .

 

Location

Our home-based private studio is conveniently located in a residential area near the intersection of Taunton Road and Harmony. The complete address will be provided in your confirmation email.

 

Parking

You are welcome to park on the side of the road, but please avoid using the driveway. Please also be mindful of any nearby fire hydrants.

 

Upon Arrival

If you've arrived by car, kindly wait inside your vehicle. If you've been dropped off, please wait on the porch. Given that this is a private home-based studio with other residents and a dog, we ask that you refrain from ringing the doorbell or knocking. We will notify you to come in via text message. Your cooperation is appreciated.

 

Payment Options

We are pleased to accommodate both debit and credit card payments, which will include a 13% HST charge. Cash payments will be exempt from taxes. Please be advised that in-person credit card transactions will be subject to a 2.65% processing fee. Kindly note that prices are subject to modification at any time without prior notification.

 

No Refunds

We aim to align guest expectations through thorough consultations. Your understanding that certain outcomes may require multiple sessions is greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that individual results vary based on the client. Adhering to recommended aftercare practices is essential for retention and optimal results.

 

If you're unsatisfied with your results, please inform us during your appointment or contact us within 48 hours post-service. We'll arrange a complimentary removal if needed.

 

Please note that requesting a different desired look, separate from the agreed-upon results, constitutes a new appointment and full-service charges will be applied.

Store Policy

Sales and Returns:

Cube Beauty Company sells only final-sale items. All sales are considered final, and we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for any purchased items, including products and gift cards. However, products that are defective and/or damaged in their original state are eligible for exchange. Please note that Cube Beauty Company is not liable for items damaged as a result of shipping.

Shipping and Billing Addresses:

To ensure a smooth ordering process, please make sure that your shipping and billing addresses are the same when placing an order. Orders with different shipping and billing addresses will be cancelled. Please allow up to 48 hours for a shipping confirmation to be sent via email. All orders are shipped using Canada Post and can be tracked using the personalized tracking link provided in the shipping confirmation email.

Processing and Shipping:

Orders typically require 1-2 business days for processing before shipping. The shipment time frame begins the following day once orders are mailed out. Please note that processing and shipping timeframes are independent from each other. During busy periods such as the Christmas season and product sales, please allow extra time for order completion. Cube Beauty Company is not responsible for delays in processing timeframes and will not provide refunds, returns, or exchanges for such delays.

Shipping Liability:

Once packages have been handed off to shipping providers, Cube Beauty Company is no longer responsible for their whereabouts. We are not liable for packages that are lost or stolen. If you have any questions or concerns about the package's location, please contact the shipping carrier directly. Complaints or issues regarding the package's contents or quality should be directed to Cube Beauty Company.

Order Timing and Delays:

Orders should not be placed at the last minute, as Cube Beauty Company is not responsible for package delivery times or any delays caused by shipping companies. To ensure timely delivery, please place your order as soon as possible. This also applies to pick-up orders. Orders for pick-up must be scheduled at a convenient time for both parties. Orders not available for pick-up or shipping as per the customer's requirements will not be cancelled or refunded.

Address Accuracy and Reshipping:

When checking out, please double-check that you have entered the correct address. If the address is incorrect and the package is returned to the sender, you will be responsible for the shipping expenses to have the order re-shipped. In the event of order cancellation, shipping expenses will not be refunded.

Pick-Up Orders:

Orders for pick-up are typically ready within 24-48 hours after being placed. Please wait for the "ready for pickup" email before requesting to pick up an order. Orders are held for a period of 14 days after the pickup email is sent. After this time, orders will be cancelled without a refund.
